This post from G-Town Talks was interesting. How many of us feel like as teachers we are the first to be criticized and the last to be congratulated for a job well done. In a world of underpaid and over worked teachers a little appreciation goes a long way. Administration that acknowledges from the beginning of the school year different areas that can be change and are willing to assist with these changes will get a positive response as the school year continues. I have always felt that the good come with the bad in teaching. Being prepared and putting in hours after school to ensure that I am prepared for teaching the lesson is top priority. I am sure that is how most go into teaching, with positive views of how their classroom will be conducted, unfortunately sometimes our credit is taken from us or never given at all. I love teaching and am always up for changing something to make it better, if it works.
